THIS WORKSHOP/SALON IS CLOSED UNTIL JUNE 18, 2006 due to my travels. I can click in your comments until about 5 pm MST on May 30th, and then won't have computer access again until June 9th. Meanwhile, you can leave any thoughts but they won't appear here until after June 9th.
JUNE 18-JULY 2: Next workshop, TBA based on adventures and travel thoughts while I cross the pond and then drive through Texas and New Mexico with a Mad Scotsman!

ILLUMINATIONS
Most commonly an illustrator takes the abstraction of words on paper and turns them into visible imagery.
I would like to turn the tides now and sea with what words you would illuminate these images.
What feelings or thoughts do they evoke - or would that be invoke?
What effect do they have - or would that be affect?

My grateful thanks to Zelda Gatuskin for hostessing our last workshop. I am getting very accustomed to being able to come here for a creative hit, a tidbit to take away and think about on my daily path. I hope it serves the same function for you each.

May 28th: I will post some food for thought on that date. However, due to travel, I will not be able to click in your response, so it won't really be a workshop/salon again until June. (Wish I could trust the world to just leave their comments without us having to approve and click them in, so you could have a workshop even if I'm not around - but it's a good thing I am doing it this way. At least 3-4 times a week some company or other, posing as an individual, tries to auto-post here to get you to click on their links for things you don't want to know about! Believe me, I am doing my editorial duty on a daily basis!)
June 18 - July 2: I will post the next workshop from Jemez Springs, New Mexico. Subject TBA and dependent on travel adventures, what inspiration they bring!
WOULD YOU LIKE TO HOST A WORKSHOP? There are openings for July, August and September. It's really quite easy, I do all the tech work, all you need is a concept, an image and to be around to answer comments for two weeks. Just email me and ask about it. I think our hosts so far will attest to the ease of it and that they have enjoyed the process!
